Student Success Center
The Student Success Center (SSC) helps every Meredith student go strong through academic support services including academic advising, success coaching, and peer tutoring.
College-Wide Initiative on Anti-Racism
Meredith College is working to cultivate an inclusive and pluralistic campus environment where diverse identities are welcomed into our living, learning, and working community. The anti-racism initiative reflects our commitment to strength, integrity, and the power of education to bring about real and lasting change across Meredith’s campus.
Through an internship and honors thesis, nutrition major Anna-Moriah Fung, ’24, has expanded her knowledge and passion for the field. Her next step: pursuing a Master of Public Health from UNC at Chapel Hill.
Tamara Bomparte, ’24, always knew her love of reading would lead to a career in publishing. At Meredith, she discovered her leadership potential through experiential experiences, preparing her for her dream career.
Through our StrongPoints program, Blue Wise, ’27, has learned to maximize her strengths in various aspects of life. Wise has used this knowledge to overcome professional, academic, and personal challenges.

When the extent of the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina became apparent, Meredith College student leaders jumped into action by holding a donation drive for those in the affected areas.
Carly O’Toole, ’26, and Sarah Shelton, ’25, were recently awarded scholarships by Alpha Delta Lamba (ALD).
The Class of 1973 recently celebrated reaching its 50th Reunion Class Project goal of $200,000 to establish the Class of 1973 Campus Garden and Beautification Fund that will be used to support the Dickson Foundation Community Garden.
Meredith College will hold the 2024 Honoring Women Veterans event on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. in Jones Chapel. The featured speakers for this year’s event will be student veterans Trina Zazarine, ’25, U.S. Air Force, and Karina Reyna, ’25, U.S. Marine Corps.
Meredith’s Pre-Health Post-Baccalaureate Certificate and the Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences programs held a networking event on October 22.
The Meredith College sophomore class sponsored the Guardian Angel Dance on Saturday, October 19, at the Crabtree Valley Marriott Hotel.
To support students in their college search process, Meredith participates in the North Carolina College Foundation College Application Week, October 21-27. During this period, students can apply to the College for free.
